Win7 BUG: If you have Windows 7, don't bother downloading the current K4PC. Despite what is written on the product page, ver 1. Even though Amazon knows of this BUG, they did not roll back to ver 1. Amazon does not have an option to download the older version 1. So if you have Win7, you have to look on the internet for ver 1. The fact that this problem has been known for about three months, yet there is no fallback or alternate plan. It seems to me that it is of low priority to be fixed. A default alpha sort would be infinitely better than the random order it is in. This problem should have been caught in design review, and has existed for at least seven years, when I got my Kindle 2. If you have more collections than will fit on the screen like on a laptop , you do NOT have access to those "hidden" collections.
There is no way to scroll to see the "hidden" collections. So you cannot easily add a book to a collection, and you cannot delete a book from a collection. I divide the collection in half or more. You have to do this one-book-at-a-time. Example fiction at level 1, then SciFi, mystery, time travel, etc. at level 2. I have to "fake" this by the names: Fiction, Fiction. SciFi, Fiction. Mystery, Fiction. Historical, etc. This becomes more important as you get MORE books into a collection, and that collection get BIGGER and BIGGER. While I might have all the collections, most of the book links are lost.
Example a collection on computer A with books, but with only 25 books on the importing computer B. So if I forgot to assign a book to a collection, I will likely never find that mistake, except by pure dumb luck. By comparison, the discontinued and now non-functional Win8 app took only about 30 SECONDS, to start up. If I could find an alternate ereader app for the tablet, I would immediately switch. Sometimes it will save the book list and redownload, other times it is wiped out and you have to try to remember which books you had and redownload the books manually. Good luck on remembering more than about 20 books. more coming later Once you start buying Kindle ebooks, for better or worse, you are stuck in the ecosystem. I decided to try the app in hopes of eliminating taking my Kindle on trips. I'm glad I did. The app allows me select a book from my library or to pick up reading a book where I left off at home.
I have used it at hotels in the US and on cruises and it works like a charm. This book takes a difficult subject, the reality of Oneness, and offers a simple perspective grounded in truth. This is a challenging subject because ultimately actual experience is absolutely essential whereas intellectual description can only point the way. You could say this book is a good "way pointer. The Course draws on iambic pentameter, whereas this book uses plain, easy to understand language. Whether you are a Course student or not, this book has the potential to be very helpful if the reader is interested in and wants to learn more about non-dualistic spiritual thought. Five stars.

Downloading this reader to my laptop has given me back the joy of reading books again. I like this app a lot. I wasn't too sure at first what this was. I was really leery of some sort of charge for using it, that had yet to be seen. But no The download was simple and instantaneous. Perfectly effortless no sweat. Good deal! I love using this app to read my e-books from any device I choose. I can set a bookmark from my computer session and pick up right where I left off on my phone while I wait for the kids after school when I'm parked in the car. This is really THE answer for a long-time dilemma.
Now I can download FREE books I've been wanting and read at my leisure. I do not own a Kindle and do not want one, so this is a great alternative.
